When we decided to keep a puppy from the Lady/Taramack litter of 10, John said "I'm not sure which one we'll choose, but I do know that I don't want a male and I don't want a dark one!" Turns out that the pup who stole our hearts was the darkest male. We fell in love with Fiddler and now he's a part of our family. He makes us laugh every day just like his mama Lady, and already-- I can't imagine us without him. Smart as a whip and full of himself, looking so much like his wonderful sire with a very steady and calm demeanor. Fiddler is very patient with people, he waits to be approached and lets the person decide how they would like to interact with him. He is happy to give you a small kiss, shake hands, get a hug from you or just sit by your side and be with you. We are looking forward to the enjoyment of watching our "Ladybaby" grow each step of the way. (update April 2016) : Fiddler continues to grow and to cement himself into our lives and hearts. He's a really good boy, he has been very easy to raise and we are thrilled with his kind and loving temperament. Fiddler's done very well in the show ring and seems to enjoy that venue. Lady and Wolf adore him, so do we and I think he enjoys being the special baby who gets so much attention. (update June 23, 2016: Fiddler turned 2 years old and we had his hips/elbows x-rayed for OFA. Sadly, we found out that he has dysplasia in both hips. Fiddler will be getting more spoiled than ever now and our easy-going, gentle boy will be loved even more. He is definitely a "keeper".) 2020 update: Fiddler is a wonderful boy with his calm and gentle demeanor. He, Lass, and Summer may play rough when they get wound up, but Fiddler has shown himself to be thoughtful and peaceable with every person or animal he meets. He has put himself between me and several perceived dangers, like a threatening barking dog or a huge tree falling in the woods. When you give your heart to Fiddler, he is careful to take very good care of it.
