Our goal as a breeder is to contribute to and help improve the Shiloh breed. We health test extensively, and we're hoping to pass on great health and sweet and loving temperaments, as well as good looks, show conformation and working abilities. We want to celebrate these wonderful, versatile Shilohs, so we work to have titles at both ends of their names. We are striving to produce quality pups that will love and be loved in their new homes, delighting their owners with their loyal, gentle and fun-loving natures. Puppies will be available to approved homes only.
How we do things at Cabin Run: We spend much time and effort and try to use great discernment (with a whole lot of help from our breeder friends) in finding just the right mate for our female. We raise our puppies in our dining room, which is wide open to our living room. In this way the pups are exposed to all the comings and goings and noises of a household. It's also a fun way to give them extra attention! They have a large play area right off of the dining room on our big covered back porch, and a safe enclosed area to romp in on our acreage. Neighbors, friends, family and future puppy owners are encouraged to come visit and play with them once they are 4 weeks old. We want all of our puppies to be well rounded, sweet, outgoing and happy by the time they're ready to go to their new forever homes.
Our wonderful girl Lass is now 5 years old and has given us 3 beautiful litters. She is now retired and will live a life of leisure with us. Her daughter, Summer, has passed all of her health tests now that she is 2 years old. (See “Summers” page for details) We are hoping to breed her to a wonderful male this fall.❤️❤️ See announcement on the Breeding Page.
We offer a lifetime of support for you and your puppy, and look forward to getting to know you. We hope you will send us updates and lots of pictures as your puppy grows.
Thanks again for your interest in Cabin Run Shilohs. We look forward to serving you in any way we can.
